The Comfort Lake - Forest Lake Watershed District (CLFLWD) encompasses roughly 49 square miles in northern Washington County and southern Chisago County, including the Cities of Chisago City, Forest Lake, Scandia, and Wyoming. The watershed outlets to the northwest to the Sunrise River, which flows northeast through Chisago County before discharging to the St. Croix River.
10-Year Watershed Management Plan is Complete
The final Comfort Lake-Forest Lake Watershed District 2022-2031 Watershed Management Plan, as approved by the Board of Water and Soil Resources on August 26th and adopted by the CLFLWD Board of Managers on September 23rd, is available at www.clflwd.org/watershed-management-plan.php.
Request for Proposals: Logo & Website Design
The Comfort Lake-Forest Lake Watershed District (CLFLWD) is inviting contractors to submit a proposal to develop a cohesive logo and website. CLFLWD seeks the development of a logo and website design that will provide an engaging user experience, deliver clear messaging to diverse stakeholders, and reflect the priorities of the watershed district. The Comfort Lake-Forest Lake Watershed District (CLFLWD) is committed to our communities, stakeholders, and staff. We are monitoring the rapidly changing situation surrounding COVID-19 and are following the guidance of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Minnesota Department of Health. CLFLWD has prepared temporary policies that will be implemented immediately.
CLFLWD offices are officially closed until further notice. All CLFLWD employees will be working remotely during this time and will remain available by phone and email. Individuals are asked not to come to the CLFLWD offices but instead contact our main number at 651-395-5850 for information and the staff directory.
