Mike Kinney

Mike joined CLFLWD in early 2014. As Administrator, Mike implements policies and programs on behalf of the CLFLWD Board of Managers. With 33+ years of professional experience, Mike has brought experience in agronomy, economics, education, Lean Six Sigma, and research to manage both financial and water resources as efficiently as possible. He supervises all staff and operations, including the annual budget and work plan. Mike holds a B.A. in Geology from the University of St. Thomas and a M.S. in Water Resources Management from UW-Madison.


Beth Carreno

Beth joined CLFLWD in June 2022. She provides management of the District’s permitting, regulatory, and other programs in support of the Watershed Management Plan. Beth develops and maintains the District’s strong relationships with community leaders and other critical stakeholders. She has a B.S. in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.


Emily Heinz

Emily joined CLFLWD in December 2014. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Iowa State University and a project management fundamentals certificate from the University of Utah. Emily performs grant writing, progress evaluation, planning and budgeting for the District.


Blayne Eineichner

Blayne joined CLFLWD in 2019. He holds a B.S. in Biology from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and an M.S. in Applied Ecology from the University of Maryland -Frostburg State. Blayne is responsible for the development and implementation of the CLFLWD’s capital improvement projects, as well as coordination of the Water Quality Monitoring and Operations and Maintenance Programs.

Mike joined the CLFLWD team in April 2022. He holds a B.A. in History and Environmental Studies from Saint John’s University and a M.S. in Sustainable Water Environments from the University of Glasgow. He is a certified conservation planner through the NRCS and completed the Watershed Specialist Training program at the U of M. Mike’s primary duties involve working with the permitting program and associated inspections.


Jessica Lindemyer

Jessica joined CLFLWD in 2016. She holds a B.A. in Biological Sciences and Studio Art from the College of Saint Benedict, and a graduate certificate in Environmental Education from Hamline University. Jessica manages the Districts website, social media, and outreach programs along with providing internal technical support and administrative assistance.


Aidan Read

Aidan started with CLFLWD as a seasonal technician in 2018 and joined the permanent staff as a land management specialist in 2021. Aidan’s work includes promoting conservation farming practices, providing resources and technical assistance to landowners for conservation planning, and administering the District’s Citizen Advisory Committee, and Farmer-led Council. Aidan holds a B.A. from Hamline University, and is completing a M.S. in Natural Resource Science and Management from the University of Minnesota.


Garrett Miller

Garrett joined the CLFLWD in 2019. He holds a B.A. in Ecology and Environmental Biology from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. Garrett’s primary duty is coordinating the District’s Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) program. He is also involved with lake monitoring, coordinating the Citizen Assisted Monitoring Program (CAMP), and operations and maintenance of District structures and aerators.


Bobbie Law

Bobbie joined CLFLWD in the spring of 2021 as an Office Manager. She holds B.S. in Conservation and Environmental Planning from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Bobbie is multifaceted and assists the District with a wide range of tasks including, management of Accounts Receivable and Payable, permitting financial tracking, board meeting coordination, updating the CLFLWD website, and Geographic Information System management.


Jess Hall

Jess was placed with the District through the Minnesota GreenCorps program in September of 2022. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and Conservation Biology from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jess assists with shoreline restoration planning and implementation, chloride reduction best management practices, and the District’s education and outreach program.
